在LTE网络中，由于对传输的数据有不同的要求，LTE的帧结构在时分双工（TDD）和频分双工（FDD）模式之间有所不同，LTE帧结构有两种类型：
LTE FDD是全双工系统，因此下行链路和上行链路传输都在不同的频率上同时发生。
